It all started when my daughter asked me to draw a cat. I made a quick little sketch and it made her smile.
Several months later one of my clients needed art for a pet bowl. I showed him the cat drawing and it made him smile too. He asked for more cat drawings. And dogs too. Soon I had dozens of quirky little dog and cat illustrations. They seem to make everyone smile.
I like to imagine all my dogs and cats living together in the same neighborhood, so I named the collection Dogwood Street.
Since its launch, Dogwood Street illustrations have been licensed for dozens of products, from kitchen towels to shower curtains, mugs to rugs, and Christmas ornaments too.
