In this one-hour session you'll get constructive feedback on your artwork plus the opportunity to ask questions about surface design and the art licensing industry.

Before the meeting, I'll review your work and then together we'll identify your strengths and areas for growth. The session is flexible and tailored to your needs — whether it's delving into design fundamentals, exploring color, or figuring out the ideal product categories for your work. You’re also welcome to ask questions about pricing, pitching, trade shows, licensing contracts and any other aspect of surface design.

Surface Design Portfolio Review
Would you like help learning Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop? Get personalized instruction in this 30-minute session. We can cover the basics, or focus on advanced techniques and workflows, or troubleshoot any specific problems you're having.
What to Expect
When you book your session, you’ll be asked a couple questions about your experience level and whether you’d like to focus on Adobe Illustrator or Photoshop (or both). During our call, I’ll share my screen and demonstrate the tools and techniques you’re interested in. Or, if you prefer, you can share your screen and I’ll coach you through the steps as you go. Either way, you’ll get the most personalized learning experience possible and the opportunity to ask questions in real time.
Areas of Expertise
My expertise in Illustrator includes drawing natively with pen, pencil, and paintbrush tools, using image trace, creating repeat patterns — including the pattern tool, working with color, and preparing files for production.
In Photoshop, I specialize in product mockups, so my expertise includes retouching, color-correction, using selection tools, smart objects, layer masks, distortion techniques, and preparing files for production.
